Night Sweetheart Ch.3

Disclaimer: You don't want to know what would happen if I owned the series. All rights go to L.J. Smith and the producers, as well as the cast of the series!
A/N: It's been a while since I last updated, but I am finally back! This chapter is dedicated to my friend, Stella! Enjoy reading and please leave a review!
Elena looked around in slight surprise. The bar-which according to Klaus belonged to a witch-was like any other bar that she had been to. Elena had expected it to be all dark and gloomy, full of dust, making it hard for her to breathe. Instead, it was an open place, full of light, and looked completely unsuspecting to an innocent human eye.
"C'mon," Klaus pulled her forward roughly "We don't have all day."
Elena didn't understand why he was so impatient. Even Damon had a better temper than this hybrid.
They had now reached the middle of the bar, and only then did Elena notice a woman making her way towards them with a critical glint in her eye.
"You're back," she said to Klaus.
He smiled cockily at the woman.
"I am indeed," he answered.
Elena looked at him questioningly, wanting to know whom the woman was.
"Elena, this is Gloria, the witch I told you about. Gloria, this is Elena; the doppelganger who is meant to be dead." His tone had become dangerously sharp towards the end.
"Ah," Gloria responded, "So you have found the reason why you can't create more hybrids."
"Yes...please excuse us for a moment, Elena." he said.
Elena nodded and watched as Klaus went to a corner of the bar with Gloria. She sat on one of the chairs, tucked her knees underneath her chin and sighed.
There had been so much going on lately...
How did he find me? She asked herself again and again.
Klaus hadn't even known she was alive. Or had he? Elena shook her head.
It was obvious why he hadn't killed her.
He still needed her.
Why had she run? Why had she even attempted to find Stefan here when she knew that he would reject her so harshly?
And now, she was going to pay the price for all of her recent actions; for staying alive…for coming to find Stefan…for running after he rejected her. It would all come back to her.
Elena felt somebody breathe against her neck. She turned around so quickly her vision blurred. Klaus was sitting on a chair next to her smirking to himself.
"How do you feel, my little doppelganger?" He asked her.
Elena shrank away from him, not wanting to be near this monster any longer. Klaus touched her cheek gently.
"No need to be afraid, love," he told her "I am not going to hurt you...yet"
"What do you want from me?" Elena whispered.
"What I want is to create more hybrids, as I have already told you." Klaus answered her straightforwardly.
Elena exhaled deeply.
"Where is Stefan?" she asked.
"Your boyfriend is having a nap. He'll be up soon, though," he said.
Pain flashed across Elena's features when he said that. She closed her eyes and she could feel Klaus looking at her. But he didn't ask.
"You are so much like her," he mumbled quietly.
Elena opened her eyes again and looked at him. He seemed lost in thought and Elena could tell that he was very vulnerable at the moment.
"Like whom? Are you comparing me with Katherine?" Elena asked.
"No, not Katerina..." he trailed off.
He got up and the doors of the bar opened. Stefan, along with another woman, a blonde came in. He froze as soon as he saw her.
"Elena," he breathed.
Klaus smirked.
"I'll deal with you later." he said casually walking over to the blonde.
She pulled a stake out from behind her and in supernatural speed as she ran to him, and jammed it into his heart. Klaus's face didn't change. He rolled his eyes and pulled it out.
"Nice to see you too, Rebekah" he said, "Did you seriously think that the jab would hurt me?"
Rebekah walked past him, ignoring his scold. Stefan was still looking at Elena. He hadn't moved an inch.
"As you have noticed Ripper, Elena is alive" he said, "Could you do me a favour and explain why this has happened? I am quite certain it wasn't an accident."
Stefan looked at Klaus.
"What you say is true, Nick." he said quietly "But Elena means nothing to me now! Please...forgive me."
Klaus shook his head and chuckled humourlessly.
"You will have to prove yourself, I am afraid. But for now, take the doppelganger to your apartment, will you? Then, come right back...surely you feel hungry. Rebekah and I need to discuss a few things..."
Stefan nodded and walked over to Elena picking her up, bridal style. In a flash, he disappeared. Elena didn't know what to feel. Here she was, lying in the arms of her ex boyfriend-whom she still loved-being taken to his apartment in Chicago. That sounded great. But he was slowly being turned into a monster, and he did whatever he did because the man who was turning him into what he was ordered him to.
When he came to a halt, they were standing in front of a tall, gray building. Stefan let her down and pulled a set of keys out, opening the door. His apartment was on the fifth floor. They got into the elevator and from there into his room.
"So, are you happy now, Elena?" Stefan asked as soon as they got in.
"W-why should I be happy in any way, Stefan?" she stuttered.
"Well, now you are finally here alone with me. Now you have the opportunity to oh so magically change everything, so that it becomes like it was! Go ahead then, Elena! You have all time of the world to make everything okay!" he shouted.
Elena shook her head and made her way over to the fridge. She was dying of hunger.
"You don't get it, do you Stefan?" she asked him quietly, while pulling out bread and a knife.
"What do I not get, Elena?" Stefan inquired.
Elena began slicing a piece.
"You don't get, that it all has to do with your will! You owe me, Stefan! After everything we've been through! How dare-Ouch!"
Elena had cut herself with the knife. Blood oozed out of the wound. She looked at Stefan. His pupils were dilating and veins were appearing beneath his eyes.
He cocked his head to the side and looked at her hungrily. Then he ran over to her in supernatural speed and grabbed her. Elena looked at him in shock and saw his sharp...glistening...white... fangs.
Another cliffhanger! What do you think is going to happen next? Please leave a review, I'll update faster!

'Night Sweetheart Chapter 2

Disclaimer: I don't own The Vampire Diaries or any of its characters. All rights go to L.J. Smith and the producers as well as the cast of the series. I need to find a more interesting disclaimer...this one is boring.

A/N: Enjoy reading!!

The vampire slowly turned around and Elena gasped.

"Klaus-!"

He smirked, amused by the look of sheer terror on her face.

"Hello, Elena," he said in a quiet, seductive tone.

Elena was petrified with fear. She briefly wondered what he was planning on doing with her now.

How long will it take for him to kill me? Was the question that loomed inside her mind.

The answer was obvious.

A long time...
Klaus cocked his head to the side and assessed her. Then, he made his decision. With near-supernatural speed, he ran over to her, grabbed her, and shoved her into a wall.

"You are supposed to be dead!" he screamed at her.

Elena trembled in his firm grip, avoiding his eyes. He was going to kill her, for sure.

And she would never see Stefan again.

Please, she thought, please make it be over quick…please don't make me suffer…and please let Stefan be okay again...

She looked at Klaus with fear-filled eyes. To her immense surprise, his gaze softened a little and his grip wasn't hurting her as much as before. A spark of hope flickered up inside her.

Maybe somebody heard my pleas after all...

"What are we going to do about that?" Klaus asked her sarcastically.

Elena decided to be honest with him. Who knew what was going on inside the hybrid's mind?

"Klaus, please before you kill me...please just listen..."

Klaus frowned. And then he shrugged; what did he have to lose anyway? He had all time in the world, and who knew? He might learn something that would bring him closer to a solution of why his hybrids were failing.

Elena nearly smiled in relief. So there was hope after all...

"Look, you are a hybrid, right? I know, Stefan might have betrayed you Klaus, but you have to see his point of view too...the sacrifice took place before he sided with you. He could never have known or even guessed that-"

She was cut off by Klaus's hand on her mouth.

He pressed until the inner flesh of her lip was cut open. Elena choked as she swallowed some of her own blood.

"My problem, love, isn't the one that you are naming; my problem, is that I can't create more of me, a fact which I have been wondering about for a while. Well, now I figure it has something to do with the fact that you're still alive!" his voice grew louder the longer he spoke.

He let his hand-which was still clamped upon her lips-down and continued.

"I spent a thousand years trying to break this curse...the first time I failed because the doppelganger escaped," he shook his head. "Now, I broke it, and my actual plan has shattered. And your dear Stefan can take the blame for that!"

Klaus growled and Elena saw his eyes turning yellow, the veins coming out beneath them and his fangs, which had doubled since the transformation began.

So this is the end... she thought.

Elena closed her eyes waiting for Klaus to sink his teeth into the flesh of her neck.

But he never did. Instead, Klaus picked her up, ran to the car, and threw her onto the passenger seat. He slammed the door shut and slid into the driver's seat. Then, he turned on the engine and drove away at breakneck speed.

Only then, did Elena dare open her eyes.

Why is he doing this? She asked herself.

She looked at Klaus, whose face was once again, completely expressionless. What punishment would Stefan have to endure? Surely it would be a harsh one...and she knew perfectly well that he would make her watch Stefan suffering.

Elena bit her lip, trying hard not to burst into tears; that was the last thing she wanted right now.

"Klaus?" she asked hesitantly.

He looked at her.

"Yes, love?" She flinched; she hated it when he called her that, but didn't say anything.

"Where are we going?" she inquired.

"To a bar that is owned by one of my favourite witches." Klaus answered "From there, to Stefan's apartment."

"Oh..." was all Elena said.

Though she tried to contain herself, she wasn't able to stop the next question from escaping her lips.
"How did you find me?" she blurted out.

Klaus smirked.

"Let's just say I have my ways,"he replied.

The car came to a rough halt.

"We're there." Klaus told her "Let's just hope that we'll be more successful this time."

Elena tried to smile, but it came across more of a grimace.

"Come on," he pulled her with him.

Elena inhaled deeply.

Then she got into the bar, looking around one last time.

Well? I hope this chapter will be as successful as the other one was... I'll update faster if you review, so please do I'll greatly appreciate it.

'Night Sweetheart

Disclaimer: I don't own The Vampire Diaries or any of its characters. All rights go to L.J. Smith and the producers, as well as the cast of the series.

A/N: Be nice and leave me some feedback! *pouts*

"This is it, Elena. I don't want to see you, hear you or be with you ever again!" Stefan shouted, his words breaking Elena's heart.

She had never believed that words could hurt a person so much. Never...until now. Elena felt the pain begin to spread; from her pierced heart, to her soul and lastly to her body. She closed her eyes, wishing that this nightmare, or whatever it was would, just end. That she would open her eyes and lie in her bed, listening to Jenna talk to Alaric on the phone, maybe look at her text messages and see that she had many missed calls, that she would go to school and have Stefan comfort her on whatever problems she was having at the moment. That everything would just...be okay. Be normal.

But when Elena opened her eyes again, she saw nothing along the lines of what she had wished. A dark, empty street was opening itself in front of her...

With no Stefan.

Elena physically crippled by the pain that Stefan's words had caused her. She screamed, desperately trying to empty it from her, but nothing changed. It stayed, like rusty nails clawing onto her heart, slowly ripping it apart until it was nothing.

Nothing.

And then Elena ran. She ran into nowhere, trying to get rid of the terrible feeling that was enclosing her. She ran until her energy was drained and her legs refused to carry her any further.

She looked around. She was in a dark, dirty street; like the ones that existed in horror movies. She heard a loud, hyena-like laughter and slowly turned around. Three guys, who seemed around the age of twenty, were standing a few metres behind her, whisky bottles in their hands and a lust-filled expression on their faces.
Elena suddenly became afraid. She had absolutely no idea where she was and these people looked quite dangerous.

"Hello, love!" She jumped as one of them addressed her, coming closer slowly. "Would you like to join us for a drink?"

The man's breath reeked of alcohol. Elena shook her head and took a small step backwards. The guy followed.

"Ya sure? If you don't, I promise that you'll regret it," a second man told her, smirking smugly

Elena gulped and looked around for any signs of somebody who might help her. How long would it take Damon to find her? And when he did, would she already be dead?

"Oh, pity that you're not interested," the third man told her, pushing her into the arms of the second.
They had all formed a triangle around her now, so there was no chance of escaping.

"C'mon, give it a go!" the second told her. "Oh and also... Don't even think of screaming," he added, pulling a knife out and placing it upon her neck.

Elena panicked. She began writhing in the second's firm grip, desperate to get away from these people.
But all of a sudden, a car came around the corner and before she could comprehend what was happening, the door was open and a shadow shot, like a bolt of lightning out of the car and to the guy that was holding her. The man let her go immediately and crumpled to the ground. Elena bent down and saw bite marks on the man's neck.

She then looked up and saw a male figure bent down on top of the cadavers of the other two men's bodies. Elena was so grateful, she forgot all of the fear and the pain. Damon had made it in time...

"Damon!" she exclaimed, gratefully walking over to the still turning-his-back-on-her vampire "Oh, Damon I am so grateful that you managed to get here in time. I thought I was going to die! Thank you so much…"
Damon shook his head.

"No need to thank me, love..."

"What the-?"

That was not Damon's voice.

The vampire slowly turned around... Elena gasped.
"Klaus."

I feel mean right now...first chapter and a cliffhanger. I'm a horrible person, I know... Muahahahahahaha!

Dazzled Ch.2

Disclaimer: I don't own The Vampire Diaries or any of its characters. All rights go to L.J. Smith and the producers as well as the cast of the series.

A/N: I am back with some more Stefan and Rebecca fluff :) Enjoy reading!

The next night, just before he returned to Gloria's bar, Stefan found himself drinking from a young girl's neck.
The blood gave him pleasure, such as he had never experienced as a human. It made him forget about his momentary concerns, made him feel better and better every time he tasted it.
As soon as the girl was drained, he pulled away satisfaction gleaming in his eyes. He wiped the corners of his mouth and gently stroked the girl's hair. Pulling the rose that he had given her out of her hair and putting it into the chest pocket of his suit, making a mental note of her name as he left for the bar.
He was hoping that he would be lucky, and the mysterious woman, whom he was incredibly attracted to-because he was, even though he had a hard time admitting it to himself-would return to the bar tonight.
Gloria's melodic singing voice greeted him as soon as he entered. Stefan smirked and casually walked to the centre of the dance floor throwing a brief look around.
He spotted her immediately and nearly stumbled over his feet as his heart skipped a few beats. The blood of the girl he had been feeding on formed a heated blush upon his cheeks and he looked in the opposite direction, out of pure instinct and slight embarrassment.
Stefan, control yourself! You're acting like some love-lust fool! He told himself feeling embarrassed by his actions.
As soon as he was in control again, he held up his chin arrogantly and proudly walked to the corner, where his followers were getting drunk again. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the woman laugh whilst looking at him. Stefan rolled his eyes, which for some reason made her laugh even more.
He had now reached the place where his "friends" were, and grabbed a bottle of champagne; laughing along with the cheap jokes that they shared. Time passed by quickly and he felt a tap on the shoulder. He turned around, but this time it wasn't Alejandro's face that greeted him.
The woman, whom he was so interested in, was standing in front of him with a slightly angered expression on her face. Stefan smiled at her.
"Sorry to ruin your fun boys, but some of us are here to hear the music, not you." she said.
Stefan was dazzled by her voice. It sounded sweet like honey and smooth like velvet. She had a very strong British accent and he loved it. He smiled one of the smiles that Damon had taught, when they were still human, before they had met Katherine.
"I am so sorry sweetheart! Are we offending you?" he asked her. The guys behind him laughed.
The woman blinked twice. She then smirked and stretched a hand out, cupping his cheek. Her touch was so gentle...yet so rough...
"It takes more than a baby face like that to offend me," she said seductively.
Stefan's followers laughed even more and pushed him forward. The woman wanted to leave, but he grabbed her elbow and smiled at her.
"Your name," he begged. "At least tell me your name."
The woman looked at him with those wonderful, sky blue eyes. Stefan felt as if she could see right through his perfect facade.
"You'll get my name," she answered "When you earn it..."
She then pulled her arm out of his firm grip and left him, leaving him speechless.
Stefan made to follow her, but then decided otherwise. She would return he was sure.
I'll prove myself... He thought.
With that, he went back to his corner, giving Gloria a wink before he left.

So, the second chapter of "Dazzled". Please leave a review, I'll appreciate it!

The Ripper of Chicago Alley

Stefan looked down at the girl, whose face was contorted with never-ending fear. He could feel the veins appear beneath his eye, his pupils dilating and lastly, he could feel his razor sharp fangs forcing their way out of his gums. As his face deformed more and more, showing what he truly was, the girl's heartbeat rose and she began trembling in his firm, unbreakable hold, closing her eyes; not daring to believe what she was seeing.

He gave her one last horrifying grin, and then he bit down, breaking the soft flesh of her neck. Her knees gave out, and her body fell down limp on the floor beneath his feet. But Stefan was not finished yet. In a frenzy of carnal hunger, he picked her up by the throat, held a bottle beneath the wound that had just killed her, and squeezed.

Fresh blood oozed out of the incision he had created, falling into the bottle in streams. Stefan filled it with blood until only half of it was full. Then, he got to his feet and carefully put the bottle into a corner of the empty street.

He walked back to the cadaver and began tearing the limbs apart, one by one. Stefan looked down at the now broken body feeling a little pity in the pit of his stomach. He pulled out a lighter and set the limbs on fire. In a flash, to quick for an unsuspicious human eye to notice, he picked up the bottle again and ran to his apartment, which was located in the very heart of Chicago. Once there, he opened the secret passageway in which he stored his 'drinks' and placed the bottle upon a shelf, underneath the others.

After that, he turned to the wall, pulled out a pen and wrote nothing but a single name on it. 'Alex Sava'. A drop of ink rolled down from the very last letter of the name, as if to emphasize the pain that his victim had just been through.

This story-one shot, titled The Ripper of Chicago Alley (I was being creative) is dedicated to Emily, who reads my stories, supports them and is a huge Stefan the Ripper fan. All rights go to L. and the producers as well as the cast of The Vampire Diaries

Dazzled!

A/N: If you like Stefan as a Ripper, please check out my one shot, The Ripper of Chicago Alley. I'll turn it into a story if I get enough reviews. Enjoy reading!

The first time Stefan saw her, he was absolutely stunned.

Whilst dancing with another, he couldn't recall the black-haired man's name. Her white blonde hair, which fell in ringlets down to her mid back, swayed in a perfect stance looking like pure, full, liquid gold. Her eyes were the colour of a darkening night sky, and were surrounded by thick, dark eyelashes that she batted every now and then, looking even more beautiful than before, in his opinion.

The woman's full, pouty lips were slightly parted as if to dare him to come closer. She moved gracefully in the dance she danced, never losing a step, perfecting every single move she made.

Is she human? Stefan wondered, continuing to watch her like a hawk.

He felt a tap on his shoulder and turned around to see one of his supposed 'friends' looking him directly in the face with a smirk playing on his lips.

Alejandro... Stefan recalled the man's name.

"What do you want?" he inquired in a stern, yet friendly tone. His daily mask; every single one of his victims had gotten to see at least once in their short, pathetic lives.

"Come; share a drink with us, my friend! The woman will still be here tomorrow!" his words made Stefan want to sink his teeth into Alejandro's neck. But he contained himself... for once.

"Sure," he answered through clenched teeth "Why not?"

Alejandro grinned, passed Stefan a bottle of Champagne and gave him a signal to follow him. Stefan sighed and walked past him, to the place where he and his "friends" always had their fun.

That night, they drank a lot, feeling like kings of the world. But one thought never left Stefan's mind. Right before he left, he made a promise to himself.

I will get to know this woman...

He then got out of Gloria's bar, throwing one last look around, hoping that she might not have left yet. But the bar was empty, except for three or four of his followers, and Stefan was away in a flash.

Toyed

Disclaimer: I sadly do not own The Vampire Diaries or any of the characters... All rights go to L.J. Smith, as well as the producers and the cast of the series (as always).
Well, enjoy reading!

A white, hazy mist seemed to creep unknowingly through the girl's brain, and although everything in her mind told her not to do so, she pulled out a large, sharp wooden stake and stabbed the vampire in front of her right through the middle of the heart. He groaned once in pain, and then his body fell limp onto the floor.

"Oh God..." she whispered, kneeling down next to the corpse.

Feeling a presence behind her, she slowly turned around... and saw him. Him…who had doomed her to this existence against her own will, Him who had forced her to commit this sin.

Him...whom she loved.

Yes, it was true. She hated him for making her love him. Klaus...the name tasted bitter, and wrong on her tongue, making her shudder in distaste.

She felt the blood rush through her as she surveyed the hybrid. Fury built up in her heart as she realised once again from that amused, egoistic smirk and that mischievous glint in his electric blue eyes that she was nothing, absolutely nothing to him.

Nothing but a toy, a toy he liked to look at and hurt; a plaything with a worthless soul, only useful for his dark, twisted games. He smiled, showing her his dimples; for once not looking like the monster he was, but rather innocent.

"Hello Amanda," he said in a seductive, rich voice, entitling his accent and seeming more dangerous than ever since the day she had met him.

Part of Amanda wanted to scream at him, hurt him in any way possible, and kill him. She wanted to see him in ashes if she was not looking at the man she loved and hated at the same time.

The other, more loving part of her, wanted to go up to him and hug him, kiss him and tell him that she forgave every single of his cruel actions that hurt her every time he used them.

Amanda did neither of the things. Instead, she remained where she was, petrified with fear. Only a strained whisper of his name was able to escape her full, cherry coloured lips.

"Klaus..."

It broke the icy silence that was enclosing the room, as well as her heart.

"Oh, don't worry about dear John's death by the way," he replied loosely, as if speaking about the weather "The time of his disposal was near anyway, you just made his death much less painful than it would have been if I would have the honour of silencing him, my dear."

He had come dangerously near while speaking. But Amanda did not care anymore; his words brought all the fury inside her out.

"YOU COMPELLED ME TO DO THIS!" she screamed right into his face.

She regretted the words as soon as she had said them, and awaiting him to attack her or torture her in some way. She remained in a rigid position with her face only a few inches away from his. But Klaus's expression remained neutral, keeping her on the wait for what he would do next.

After some time, he smirked, and leaned in, also grabbing her waist and pulling her up from the floor. She horrifyingly saw that she was still sitting next to poor, dead, John.

"Of course I did, sweetheart..." he mumbled, nuzzling his face in her hair.

Then, very abruptly he pulled away, amusing himself as he watched the longing for more, clearly written in her face.

"I'm bored... let's go." he told her, motioning her to follow him.

She nodded, acknowledging his command. Command, as always, she thought, coming to herself again.

You're nothing to him, Amanda... she repeated to herself again and again, nothing but his personal little plaything.
Amanda sighed.

Just a toy... Nothing more... Nothing less.
